Project Manager Implementation of the Regie Act

Project overview

The project manager ensures the implementation of the Regie Act within the municipality.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Executing the implementation of the Regie Act within various teams (Spatial Planning, VTH, Social, Livability)
• Translating legal choices into municipal policy, such as maintenance periods per category
• Managing an external party in updating the Housing Program
• Updating the Housing Ordinance based on research results
• Acting as a central point of contact for external research
• Advising management, directorate, and executive board
• Participating in working groups at the Walcheren and provincial level
• Initiating and coordinating sub-projects
• Setting up or adapting existing work processes
• Drafting new regulations where necessary
• Coordinating with Walcheren and provincial colleagues
• Bachelor's or Master's degree, for example in Housing & Urban Development, Public Administration, Urban Planning, Social Geography, or (Environmental) Law
• Demonstrable background in the housing domain or a similar policy role
• Familiarity with a political-administrative context
• Thorough knowledge of housing policy, especially the Act on Strengthening Housing Control
• Environmental awareness and administrative sensitivity, easily switching between strategy and execution
• Strong negotiation skills, connecting, and solution-oriented
