What will you do

As Project Manager Information Security Supplier Relations at Evides Water Company, you will lead a company-wide project to establish a workable and auditable process for managing information security risks with suppliers and in supply chains. You will work hybrid and liaise intensively with ICT, Procurement, Contract Management, Supplier Management, Business Continuity Management, Privacy, Legal Affairs, the primary business processes, and an external consultant. You will focus not only on planning and governance but primarily on decision-making, ownership, and demonstrable implementation.

The reason for this assignment is the entry into force of the Cybersecurity Act (Cbw) and the Act on the resilience of critical entities (Wwke) as of August 15, 2026, plus the audit that Evides expects in 2027 on the sectoral VEWIN baseline. This makes this role urgent, visible, and impactful: you will help build an Evides-wide approach that combines compliance, risk management, and feasibility.

If you are a new supplier and have not yet signed a cooperation agreement and a client-specific supplementary agreement, this will follow immediately after the assignment is awarded.

The following client-specific conditions apply to this assignment for the client Evides:

• You will draw up an integrated project plan with scope, phasing, milestones, governance, and decision points
• You will set up project governance with a steering committee, core team, working groups, and escalation routes
• You will organize the translation of standard frameworks into workable processes, roles, and control measures
• You will manage the setup of supplier classification, risk assessment, and monitoring
• You will prioritize existing suppliers and contracts by risk and determine a feasible approach
• You will organize pilots, validations, and acceptance with users and process owners
• You will ensure embedding, handover, audit trail, communication, and work instructions
• Demonstrable experience as a senior project manager, implementation manager, or in a similar integral responsible role within complex company-wide projects
• Experience with delivering and implementing processes, governance, systems, and work instructions, including handover to a line organization
• Experience with multidisciplinary stakeholder management and decision-making in an environment with diverse interests
• Excellent oral and written command of the Dutch language
• Availability of approximately 32 hours per week; experience with supplier management, contract management, supply chain risks, and information security standards such as NIS2/Cbw, CER/Wwke, or ISO 27001/27002 is a plus
