Seeking an experienced Project Manager or Interim Manager to lead and develop the Network Operations South organization, focusing on gas and water networks. The role involves analyzing structures, managing operations, ensuring compliance, and developing future strategies for network operations.
Responsibilities
Establishment, further development, and professionalization of the Network Operations South organizational unit
Analysis of existing structures, processes, and responsibilities, and derivation of suitable optimization measures
Technical management of network operations activities for gas and water networks
Ensuring compliance with regulations and legal requirements for network infrastructure operation
Technical support for the implementation or further development of Technical Safety Management (TSM)
Preparation and support of audits, certifications, and official inspections
Development of operational, maintenance, and fault clearance strategies
Creation of roadmaps, target states, and implementation plans for sustainable network operations
Advising management on strategic issues related to network operations, organization, and processes
Stakeholder management with internal departments and management

Requirements
Several years of management experience in network operations, network management, or technical operations management
Demonstrable experience with energy suppliers, network operators, or municipal utilities
In-depth knowledge in at least one of the sectors:
Ideally, experience with cross-sector networks
Very good knowledge of relevant regulations and legal requirements (DVGW, VDE, EnWG etc.)
Experience with Technical Safety Management (TSM) is an advantage
Experience with organizational development, transformation, or setup projects
