Seeking an experienced IT Project Manager for a 100% remote role in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, focusing on railway or mobility sector projects. The contract runs from November 2026 with extension options.

Responsibilities
- Clarification of requirements and advising the client regarding goal definition and project design, as well as conceptualizing a high-performing project organization.
- Definition of project goals (time, scope, budget) in coordination with the client.
- Creation of continuous transparency regarding project progress through regular reporting based on status updates.
- Tracking of the project plan regarding project phases and deadlines, as well as derivation of change requests.
- Consolidation of client status updates.
- Prioritization and focus on the results-oriented creation of project artifacts according to defined project goals.
- Presentation of results to the client's project managers and presentation of implementation proposals.
- Identification and management of project dependencies and critical paths.
- Review and re-evaluation of risks, as well as adaptation of action plans to ensure project success.
- Ensuring compliance with project management methodologies and best practices.
Requirements
- Many years of experience in managing complex IT projects with a total value of at least * € and multiple sub-projects in the role of Project Manager or Sub-Project Manager (> 7 years of experience).
- Project experience in the railway transport or mobility company environment (> 5 years of experience).
- Methodological knowledge in managing complex IT projects, proven by a certificate in the context of IPMA or PMI.
- Proof of performed roles as Project Manager or Sub-Project Manager in 2 projects.
- Experience with JIRA/Confluence for project management in the roles of Project Manager and configurator of the JIRA environment (> 5 years of experience).
Nice to have
- Experience with IT projects involving interfaces to SAP (1 project).
- Experience in projects with a rollout of IT functions (> 5 years of experience).
