Seeking two experienced Project Managers for a challenging high and extra-high voltage substation infrastructure project starting April 2027 in Landfingen. The role involves independent leadership and control of complex 110-kV and 380-kV substation projects.
Project overview
For a demanding infrastructure project in the field of high and extra-high voltage grids, we are looking for two experienced Project Managers (m/f/d) starting April 2027 to support a substation project in Landfingen. The focus is on the independent leadership and control of complex substation projects in the 110-kV and 380-kV range. Experienced project managers from the energy infrastructure sector with extensive project experience in substation construction are sought. As further projects are planned, there is a possibility of a long-term project perspective with successful collaboration.
Responsibilities
Independent leadership and control of substation projects in the 110-kV and 380-kV range. Overall responsibility for the planning, coordination, and implementation of the respective project phases. Control and coordination with construction managers, specialist trades, subcontractors, and other project participants. Monitoring of project goals regarding deadlines, costs, quality, and scope of services. Ensuring compliance with technical requirements and project-specific TenneT guidelines. Identification of project risks and development and implementation of suitable countermeasures.
Regular coordination with the client and participation in project meetings. Monitoring project progress and preparing status reports and project documentation. Ensuring smooth cooperation of all project participants until successful project handover.
Requirements
Several years of professional experience as a project manager in the field of energy infrastructure and substation construction. Sound experience in managing 110-kV and/or 380-kV substation projects. Very good knowledge of the technical and organizational requirements in substation construction. Ideally, experience with projects according to TenneT guidelines. Experience in managing construction managers, subcontractors, and various specialist trades. Confident handling of deadline, cost, and quality management. Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working.
Strong communication skills and confident demeanor towards clients and project participants. Very good German language skills. Important: Only experienced project managers who are already active in the energy and substation industry and can provide corresponding reference projects are sought.
