Our client is looking for a Post-Acquisition Integration Consultant / Digital Asset Project Manager (M/F) for a freelance mission.

The mission is part of a post-acquisition integration context within financial services, with the objective of ensuring the convergence of systems, teams, and processes, while securing regulatory, operational, and compliance requirements:

Minimum 10 years of experience in post-acquisition integration (Post-Merger Integration / PMI).

Skills required for the mission

• Structure and manage the post-acquisition integration process, from Day 1 to full integration.
• Define the program's governance, planning, milestones, and dependencies.
• Manage the alignment of IT systems, infrastructures, data, and operational processes.
• Coordinate IT, business, legal, HR, and management teams in a multi-site environment.
• Define the convergence trajectory and support architectural decisions.
• Secure business continuity, cybersecurity, regulatory, and compliance issues.
• Manage integration risks, mitigation plans, and change management actions.
• Track expected synergies, costs, and deviations from objectives.
• Organize governance bodies and ensure reporting to management.
• Integration plan: complete roadmap, milestones, dependencies, and responsible parties.
• Mapping of existing systems: applications, infrastructures, data, supplier contracts, licenses, and technical debt.
• Target architecture and convergence trajectory: scenarios for retaining, migrating, or decommissioning systems, with associated costs.
• Day 1 plan: operational checklist covering access, communication, payroll, security, and business continuity.
• Risk register and compliance plan: regulatory, operational, security, and customer risks, with mitigation actions.
• Team and skills transfer plan: target organization, retention, training, and change management.
• Business case and synergy tracking: assumptions, expected gains, indicators, and deviations.
• Governance and reporting: committee materials, dashboards, periodic reports, and closing report.
• Proven experience in financial services, particularly in banking or asset servicing.
• Experience managing cross-functional integration programs involving IT systems, business units, and support functions.
• Mastery of integration challenges in regulated financial environments.
• Experience in digital assets or fintechs is a plus.
• Post-M&A integration governance and methodologies.
• Information systems architecture and IT convergence strategies.
• Application, infrastructure, and data mapping.
• Operational risk management, cybersecurity, and business continuity.
• Regulatory compliance applicable to financial environments.
• Business case, synergy analysis, and integration cost tracking.
