Project Manager Public Space (interim)

Project overview

As a project manager for public space, you will oversee civil engineering projects with an emphasis on the greening task and a framework agreement for sports fields.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Developing and checking specifications for projects within the public space
• Preparing and supervising the tender and framework agreement for sports fields
• Managing finances, planning, technical execution, and handover to management
• Coordinating managers, directing operations, and supervising progress and quality
• Assessing designs and technical elaborations for alignment with project objectives
• Monitoring budgets and timely reporting of financial deviations and risks
• Creating and monitoring schedules and timely coordination in case of changes or bottlenecks
• At least 2 years of demonstrable experience in the past 6 years as a project manager for civil works in the public space
• Availability by December 2026 at the latest for at least 24 hours per week for the entire assignment
• A completed HBO bachelor's degree in civil engineering
• Experience with preparing tenders and supervising the framework agreement for sports fields
• At least 4 years of experience as a project manager for civil works in the public space
• Work experience with managing civil works, including design, specifications, planning, and delivery
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a coordinator or project manager for civil works within a municipal organization
• Work experience with civil engineering projects in the area of green/greening and sports fields
