Job description
As a Project Manager, you will translate the municipality's security roadmap into actionable assignments and monitor progress. You will be responsible for translating strategic security objectives into concrete projects and managing their execution.
Project overview
As a project manager, you ensure that the municipality's security roadmap is translated into executable assignments and that progress is properly monitored.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Translating strategic security objectives into concrete projects, activities, and work packages
- Elaborating assignments with scope, planning, required capacity, dependencies, and acceptance criteria
- Documenting roles, deliverables, and deadlines per activity
- Assisting in prioritizing activities, based on risks, urgency, and available capacity
- Preparing decision-making, project starts, and assignments for internal teams and external suppliers
- Monitoring the progress of security projects and improvement measures
- Organizing alignment with IT teams, information security officers, architects, process owners, and suppliers
- Identifying bottlenecks, dependencies, capacity issues, and delays
- Leading defined projects or improvement processes and handing over results to the management organization
- Maintaining an up-to-date overview of the roadmap, projects, milestones, and results
- Preparing progress reports and management information for the CISO
- Assisting in the preparation and follow-up of discussions with management, project managers, and suppliers
- Contributing to the realization of security measures from BIO2 and the Cybersecurity Act
- HBO work and thinking level
- Experience in project management, project coordination, work preparation, or portfolio management, preferably in the context of IT or information security
- Interest in cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, and digital service provision
- Experience in elaborating project plans, work packages, schedules, and progress reports
- Experience within a municipality or other government organization is a plus
- Familiarity with BIO, NIS2, ITIL, Agile, PRINCE2, or similar methodologies is a plus
- Experience with IT security projects or technical improvement programs is a plus
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Defender, Sentinel, IAM, or GRC systems is a plus
