Project overview

For our client, a nationwide service-oriented corporate group with many decentralized locations, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager (m/f/d) for the rollout of new software.

The company is introducing cloud-based industry software for daily operations at its locations, followed by a solution for personnel deployment and shift planning. The basic configuration is currently being tested at a pilot location, and the interfaces are already connected there. The focus is now on the rollout to the wider network.

We are looking for a rollout project manager to plan and steer the project. The software providers and internal IT will handle the technical implementation, and an internal team will conduct the training. Your task is to ensure that all parties deliver on schedule, and that the teams at the locations are well-prepared and can work confidently with the new system.

• Planning and steering the rollout across all locations, building on the experience from the pilot location
• Steering the internal project teams and software providers regarding deadlines, quality, and results
• Coordination of data migration and interfaces, including those for financial accounting and the HR system, via the providers
• Ensuring that training takes place on time at the locations and that users are proficient with the system
• Providing transparency on status, risks, and decision needs to management
• Close coordination with headquarters and regular visits to regional managers

• Regional managers and the teams at the locations

• Several years of experience as a project manager in software implementation, ideally in rollouts to many decentralized locations, branches, or subsidiaries
• Confident use of and certification in structured project management methods, e.g., PRINCE2
• Technical understanding for managing software providers in migration and interfaces
• Experience with users without an IT background and a good sense for training and acceptance
• Reliable, clear demeanor towards management, departments, and service providers
• Workload: Full-time
• Location: Berlin and remote. For ongoing coordination, you will regularly be at the Berlin headquarters. Therefore, we are looking for someone from Berlin or the surrounding area who can be on-site without significant travel.
• Travel: Additional travel to individual locations and regions nationwide is necessary for the rollout
