Seeking a Senior Accounting professional with project and consulting experience for a role involving month-end closing, international reporting, and tax compliance. Requires strong knowledge of HGB, IFRS, and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
Execution of group-wide reporting to international management
Processing of general ledger processes and activities within accounts payable
Preparation and review of VAT returns
Advice on tax compliance requirements
Coordination and communication with auditors

Requirements

My advantages:

Sound project experience in finance or controlling, ideally in a manufacturing company
Very good knowledge of HGB, IFRS, and VAT law
Experience in international reporting and working with auditors
Confident handling of ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365
Very good knowledge of MS Excel, ideally supplemented by Power BI
Experience in an international work environment
Structured, analytical, and independent way of working
Proactive approach with a hands-on mentality and a desire to shape things
Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
Exciting project in the international finance and accounting environment
Diverse tasks related to HGB, IFRS, and international reporting
High degree of personal responsibility and scope for professional development
Collaboration with international stakeholders and auditors
