Job description
The role involves preparing financial statements according to HGB and IFRS, performing group-wide reporting, and handling accounts payable processes. The ideal candidate has strong project experience in finance or controlling, excellent knowledge of accounting standards, and proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
Responsibilities
Profile
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
- Execution of group-wide reporting to international management
- Processing of general ledger processes and activities within accounts payable
- Preparation and review of VAT returns
- Consulting on tax compliance requirements
- Coordination and liaison with auditors
- Sound project experience in the finance or controlling environment, ideally in a manufacturing company
- Very good knowledge of HGB, IFRS, and VAT law
- Experience in international reporting and in working with auditors
- Confident use of ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Very good knowledge of MS Excel, ideally supplemented by Power BI
- Experience in an international work environment
- Structured, analytical, and independent way of working
- Proactive approach with a hands-on mentality and a desire to shape things
- Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
