Project:

Our client (a public authority) is looking for a Project Manager to support them with the introduction of an overall strategy for the use of AI, based on Hermes. The goal is to establish and clarify the organizational, technical, legal, and functional prerequisites for the productive use of AI applications. Both generative AI applications and AI functionalities within existing business applications must be considered. (Reference number 925091RF).

Responsibilities

• Definition of a strategic direction for the use of AI, including a fundamental decision on the use and/or connection of nationwide solutions.
• Development of target architectures, a rough concept for the operating model, and the necessary prerequisites regarding data quality, data availability, process harmonization, governance, and compliance.
• Identification, prioritization, and evaluation of use cases with high business value, as well as derivation of concrete implementation recommendations.
• Creation of a well-founded basis for decision-making for a department-wide implementation project.
• Optional: Review and, if necessary, development of a compact AI guideline or AI strategy.

• Tertiary level education in Computer Science or Business.
• HERMES certification (min. Hermes 5.1 Foundation or higher).
• More than 5 years of experience in IT project management.
• Experience in managing an AI project in a larger organization.
• German as project language (C2 level).
• French (B2 level).

September 2026 to March 2027 (50%), April 2027 to December 2028 (70%)
