The client, a distribution network operator in Frankfurt, is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the implementation of a web-based switching status management application. This role involves managing requirements, backlog, and stakeholder communication for a project focused on operational security in network documentation and operation.

For our client, a distribution network operator based in Frankfurt, we are looking for a Project Manager.
General:
Our client, a distribution network operator, is introducing a web-based application for switching status management as part of the modernization of its GIS landscape (ArcGIS Enterprise, Utility Network). Network documentation and network operation will manage the normal state of low voltage and lighting in a common application in the future, with automatic coloring of energy circuits and short-circuit testing. The implementation will be carried out in two expansion stages with fixed milestones, together with internal teams and an external software service provider.
The technical focus is on operational security: an incorrectly displayed switching status can lead to incorrect switching operations.
Responsibilities
- Elicitation and clarification of requirements with network documentation, network operation, and network control center in workshops and interviews
- Transfer of requirements into Epics, Features, and User Stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Derivation of test cases and acceptance criteria in cooperation with testing
- Maintenance and prioritization of the backlog along the agreed milestones
- Technical contact person for the external service provider, clarification of open questions during implementation
- Technical acceptance of increments, preparation and execution of demos
- Management of dependencies on data model, data migration, and interfaces
- Documentation of requirements and decisions in Confluence
- Support of beta phase, rollout, and go-live
