Process Consultant Microsoft Power Platform

Project overview

As a Process Consultant Microsoft Power Platform, you will support end customers in analyzing, improving, and sustainably digitizing business processes. You combine a good understanding of operational processes with technical know-how regarding automation, data analysis, and modern Microsoft solutions. In this role, you will work on various customer requirements, identify optimization potential, and develop concrete, implementable measures from them. You will accompany processes from the initial analysis through conception to implementation and further development.

A particular focus is on the development and optimization of automated workflows with Microsoft Power Automate and on meaningful evaluations with Microsoft Power BI. Depending on the task, you will also examine possibilities through API integrations, Robotic Process Automation, AI agents, and Process or Task Mining. You will communicate your results clearly, conduct workshops if necessary, and present yourself confidently and solution-oriented to business departments and customers.

You will analyze and evaluate existing business and corporate processes for end customers.

You will identify weaknesses, efficiency potentials, and opportunities for process optimization.

You will develop concrete measures for the improvement and digitization of processes.

You will identify suitable automation possibilities and accompany their implementation.

You will conceive and optimize automated workflows, especially with Microsoft Power Automate.

You will perform data analyses and create meaningful reports, for example with Microsoft Power BI.

You will examine automation potential through API integrations, RPA, and AI agents.

You will consider methods such as Process Mining and Task Mining if necessary.

You will prepare and conduct targeted workshops for business departments and end customers.

You will advise stakeholders clearly, structured, and solution-oriented on digital process improvements.

You will document your analyses, concepts, and implementation results comprehensibly.

Requirements

For this position, you bring initial practical experience in the analysis, optimization, or automation of business processes. You don't need to have many years of professional experience: what matters is your interest in digital processes, your ability to understand complex contexts, and your willingness to develop professionally. Knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power Automate and Power BI, is relevant for your daily work. You should also have a basic understanding of how processes can be made more efficient through interfaces, RPA solutions, or AI-supported agents.

You work analytically, structured, and independently, and can explain your results understandably even to less technically oriented conversation partners. Since you work with business departments and end customers, strong communication skills, a confident demeanor, and a pronounced solution orientation are particularly important. A degree, apprenticeship, or comparable qualification related to digitization, business informatics, computer science, or process management is an advantage.

You have practical experience in process analysis, process optimization, and/or process automation.

You have knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform, especially in Power Automate and Power BI.

You understand digital business processes and can assess optimization potential comprehensibly.

You ideally have knowledge in API integrations, Robotic Process Automation, or AI agents.

You preferably have knowledge in Process Mining or Task Mining.

You work analytically, structured, reliably, and independently.

You communicate confidently with business departments, customers, and other project participants.

You present yourself in a friendly, professional, and solution-oriented manner.

You can convey complex technical or process-related content understandably.

You ideally have good English skills, written and spoken, at least at a B level.

You have an apprenticeship, a degree, or a comparable qualification in a relevant professional field.
