Responsibilities

• Civil engineering for substations
• For the area of civil engineering, the contractor supports the further development of the existing category and purchasing strategy
• Development and evaluation of suitable procurement, award, and contract models (framework agreement, project business, and hybrid models)
• Development of recommendations for suitable lot and bundling strategies (bundling of multiple projects, award models, multi-lot scenarios)
• Options for bundling or regionalization
• Evaluation of criteria such as purchasing power, regional market and supplier structure, competition, and capacity impact
• Development of recommendations for segmentation and further development of the supplier landscape as well as suitable supplier roles. Evaluation of capacity reservation models, supplier development approaches, and early award strategies
• Purchasing strategy medium and low voltage (MS/NS): Consulting on the development or further development of an overarching purchasing strategy
• Strategic initial analysis: Analysis and evaluation of existing purchasing and procurement structures as well as derivation of strategic fields of action
• Award, lot, and procurement strategy: Evaluation of strategic design options for future awards
• Supplier and competition strategy: Analysis of supplier and competition structure. Development of strategic recommendations for action
• Capacity and security of supply strategy: Development and evaluation of strategic approaches to secure required performance capacities against the background of future grid construction requirements
• Economic efficiency and commercial control models: Development and evaluation of strategic approaches to improve the economic efficiency of procurement

Requirements

• Sound experience as a purchaser / in strategic purchasing
• Very good knowledge of procurement structures and award law
• Very good knowledge of award & lots in the public sector
• Construction/infrastructure purchasing with energy/grid construction experience: Civil engineering substations and medium/low voltage
• Fluent German and English skills
