Job description
Experienced development engineer wanted for high-voltage automotive components, focusing on e-mobility. Responsibilities include design, testing, and documentation of power electronics from concept to series production.
Project overview
We are looking for an experienced development engineer for the development of high-voltage components in the automotive industry with a focus on electromobility. In this role, you will be responsible for the design of high-voltage power electronics components from concept to series readiness.
Your tasks include carrying out and evaluating development and series-accompanying test series, optimizing components, and building prototypes with consideration for electromagnetic compatibility. You will create requirements specifications, specifications, and the corresponding development-accompanying documentation.
For this position, you should have a degree in electrical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field. Ideally, you have professional experience in electrical or automotive development as well as a sound understanding of hybrid and electric vehicles and battery technology.
Practical experience with flashing and testing high-voltage components using common toolchains is expected. Certificates for working with high-voltage systems (HV 1-3) are desirable. You work in a structured and independent manner, have analytical thinking skills, and a high level of commitment.
Intercultural competence and good English skills are required. Very good German skills (level C1) are necessary. The position is hybrid and offers you flexibility in work design.
