Qt Embedded Developer – Embedded Systems/C++/Qt/C Programming/Electronics Design

For our renowned client, we are looking for an experienced Qt Embedded Developer (925206JP) for the development of products for the watch industry. In this role, you will develop sophisticated embedded solutions based on C/C++ and Qt and will be actively involved from electronics and software conception through to implementation and testing. You will work closely with electronics, firmware, and system architects and contribute your experience in the design of electronic circuits and embedded software development.

Responsibilities

– Development, implementation, and maintenance of embedded software in C and C++/Qt

– Conception and design of electronic circuits for signal processing, communication (e.g., BLE, Ethernet) or display and control units

Integration of software and hardware components, commissioning, and troubleshooting on embedded platforms

– Creation of technical specifications, architecture, and design documents

– Participation in system tests, verification, and optimization regarding performance, real-time capability, and reliability

– Close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams (electronics, mechanics, system engineering, possibly watch industry)

Requirements

– At least 3 years of experience in the development of embedded systems

– Sound practical experience in programming with C and C++ as well as with Qt (Embedded/GUI)

– Experience in the design of electronic circuits for signal processing or communication (BLE, Ethernet) or display and control units (HMI, Touch, Display Control)

– Confident use of typical development and debugging tools for embedded systems

– Analytical, structured, and independent way of working as well as high quality standards

Nice to have

– Knowledge in signal processing of real-time systems

– Knowledge in Embedded Linux (drivers, BSP, user space)

– Experience in project management or system architecture

– Project experience in the watch industry or related precision industries

Education:

– Completed university degree (FH/ETH/Uni) in Electrical Engineering, Microtechnology, Computer Science, or a comparable technical field

Languages:

– Very good German skills in speaking and writing (minimum level C1)

– French Business Fluent (minimum level B2)
