Quality Engineer Test Automation

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer with a focus on test automation for an innovative project in the financial sector. You will be part of an agile team and contribute significantly to the further development of our test strategy.

Your tasks include the planning, conception, and execution of automated system and performance tests, as well as the creation and optimization of test environments for microservice architectures. You will integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and use modern tools such as GitLab and Jenkins. You will analyze functional requirements according to ISTQB standards and derive test cases from them. Using tools like Grafana K6 and JMeter, you will conduct load and performance tests and utilize monitoring solutions for performance analysis.

You will continuously build and improve automation frameworks such as Selenium or Playwright.

You have a degree in computer science or engineering and demonstrable experience as a software developer or in test automation in large projects. An ISTQB Foundation Level certification is required. You have practical experience in cloud and microservice environments as well as in agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Groovy is essential, as is experience with API testing tools. Familiarity with AI-based development tools and proficient use of JIRA and Confluence complete your profile. Very good German language skills are required.
