Responsibilities

• Planning, conception, and execution of functional tests as well as load and performance tests
• Development and further development of automated test cases and test frameworks
• Setup and operation of automated test environments for scalable performance scenarios
• Execution of load, stress, and performance tests in distributed microservice architectures
• Integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and agile development processes
• Analysis of test results, system performance, and performance bottlenecks, as well as derivation of suitable optimization measures
• Documentation of test results, evaluation of test coverage, and continuous improvement of the test strategy

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Natural Sciences, or Engineering, or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in software development or test automation, as well as in creating functional test cases
• Sound knowledge in performance testing, load testing, and stress testing, ideally with Grafana k6 or JMeter
• Several years of practical experience in test automation, CI/CD, and testing along the test pyramid
• Experience with cloud and microservice architectures, as well as in large agile projects
• Knowledge of API testing with Postman, ideally also Thunder Client, as well as a scripting language like Python, JavaScript, or Groovy
• Experience with AI-supported development tools, such as GitHub Copilot
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification or comparable qualification
• Knowledge of Scrum, SAFe, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Consumer-Driven Contracts, as well as monitoring and logging tools are advantageous
• Analytical, independent, and team-oriented way of working, as well as very good German language skills
• Willingness for voluntary weekend work during possible hypercare phases after prior agreement
