Responsibilities

Profile

• Operational and technical support in quality management for steel construction projects
• Assumption of overall quality responsibility for defined steel construction scopes
• Creation, maintenance, and further development of quality and inspection plans
• Execution, coordination, and evaluation of quality inspections in the manufacturing environment
• Execution and evaluation of non-destructive testing, especially ultrasonic testing
• Support of quality pre-planning (QVP)
• Monitoring compliance with welding and quality-related requirements
• Processing of quality deviations and initiation and follow-up of corrective actions
• Support in optimizing quality-related manufacturing and inspection processes
• Coordination with production, welding supervision, design, and other specialist departments
• Completed technical training with further education as a master craftsman or technician
• Sound experience in quality management or quality assurance in steel construction
• Knowledge of quality pre-planning (QVP)
• Experience in creating and implementing inspection concepts and inspection plans
• Knowledge in the field of non-destructive testing methods, especially ultrasonic testing
• Welding qualification or corresponding further training advantageous
• Experience with high-strength fine-grained steels and welded steel structures desirable
