Real Estate Transaction Manager

Responsibilities

For our client in Basel, we are looking for an experienced personality in Real Estate Transaction Management. As part of a temporary maternity cover, you will be responsible for property acquisitions and sales and will oversee transactions from the initial review to closing.

-->50% of the agreed workload; during the first three weeks by arrangement

• Independent management of acquisition and sales projects in the Swiss real estate market.
• Identification and preliminary review of suitable properties, as well as preparation of non-binding and binding purchase offers.
• Conducting due diligence reviews and property valuations.
• Compilation, preparation, and review of sales documents within the scope of Vendor Due Diligence, as well as setting up the data room.
• Tendering and mandating external real estate brokers.
• Preparation of committee proposals and conducting contract negotiations.
• Coordination with notaries and land registries.
• Ensuring transaction documentation and reporting.

Requirements

• University degree in Business, Architecture, Law, or a comparable field.
• At least three years of professional experience in Real Estate Transaction Management, real estate consulting, or real estate valuation.
• Sound knowledge of the Swiss real estate market, particularly in the area of direct investments and real estate transactions.
• Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of valuation and research software such as Wüest Dimensions and Immopac.
• Native-level German and good English and French skills at at least B2 level.
• Additional training in the real estate sector. (advantageous)
• Experience with GaraioREM and other real estate tools. (advantageous)
• Experienced use of AI applications in daily work. (advantageous)
• Workload: 50%-80%
