Project overview

For our client, we are looking for a Real Estate Valuation Specialist.

Project Goal: Creation and plausibility check of real estate appraisals for commercial portfolios in Germany and other European countries. The focus is on market-based valuation principles and the technical comprehensibility of international appraisals.

Responsibilities

• Creation of market value appraisals for commercial real estate in Germany.
• Analysis of valuation orders from the CRE business.
• Plausibility check of external appraisals for international properties.
• Technical review of valuation assumptions, calculation models, and value drivers.
• Comprehension of DCF calculations and valuation of the underlying cash flows.
• Analysis of foreign appraisals.
• Documentation of valuation principles, assumptions, and results.
• Contribution of new approaches in a dynamic valuation environment.
• Delineation of appraisal creation from the final value determination by the responsible decision-makers.

Remote Share: 90–100 %

Utilization: 4–5 days / week

Industry: Real Estate

• Sound practical experience in real estate valuation, especially in market value determination.
• Experience in creating appraisals for residential and commercial real estate.
• Experience in the plausibility check of external real estate appraisals.
• Very good knowledge of the Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) method.
• Ability to technically comprehend complex valuation calculations and value approaches.
• Solid understanding of international valuation approaches and market conditions.
• Fluent English skills for reading, analyzing, and classifying English-language appraisals.
• Certification as HypZert F or MRICS is mandatory.
