Regional Coordinator Heat

Project overview

In the role of regional coordinator heat, you will guide municipalities in the Stedendriehoek region during the heat transition.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Coordinate the execution of the regional heat implementation plan together with the Energy Supply program manager and the Heat and energy transition working group
• Prepare, organize, and facilitate regional consultations, working sessions, and meetings
• Collect, structure, and share knowledge and experiences from municipalities and agenda joint learning and development needs
• Support municipalities in aligning heat programs and translating them into spatial plans, participation, and administrative decision-making
• Inventory the need for regional capacity and expertise and organize appropriate support
• Contribute to the heat transition, the insulation task, and the realization of small-scale heat networks and green gas/biogas
• Monitor the connection between the regional heat approach, the Regional Energy Strategy, and partners such as the province of Gelderland, Liander, NPLW, GWIB, housing associations, and energy cooperatives
• Identify bottlenecks and help develop joint solutions
• Completed education at a minimum HBO bachelor's level
• Work experience with coordination and/or support of policy and implementation processes within the heat transition, such as heat programming, insulation task, heat networks, and green gas/biogas
• Experience with collaboration between various municipalities and/or public and societal parties within a regional setting
• Work experience with organizing and facilitating consultations, working sessions, and knowledge exchange and translating them into follow-up steps
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect different parties and interests
