Regional Test Lead – Microsoft Dynamics 365

Project overview

The mission consists of acting as a Regional Test Lead within an international Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) transformation and deployment program. The consultant will be responsible for defining, structuring, and managing all testing activities for their regional scope, ensuring their consistency with the overall ERP program strategy. This will include developing test strategies and plans, organizing and supervising integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), non-regression testing, and end-to-end (E2E) testing campaigns.

They will ensure coordination between regional testing teams, business teams, IT teams, and integrators, while supporting key users in preparing and executing acceptance tests. Responsibilities will also include monitoring and prioritizing defects, coordinating their resolution, identifying risks and blockers, and producing performance indicators and progress reports. They will participate in program governance meetings and contribute to Go/No-Go decisions before production releases.

Profile Sought

The sought-after profile is an experienced or senior Test Lead or Test Manager, at Manager level, with significant experience in managing test campaigns on complex ERP transformation projects. Concrete and operational experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is mandatory and a disqualifying criterion. The consultant must master SIT, UAT, E2E, and non-regression testing methodologies, as well as defect management, qualification, and solution validation processes. Experience in managing tests for multi-country or multi-entity ERP deployments is particularly appreciated.

Good knowledge of test and defect management tools, especially Azure DevOps, Jira, Xray, or equivalent, is also expected. The consultant must be able to coordinate multiple teams and stakeholders in an international environment, monitor quality KPIs, and produce reports for governance bodies. Excellent communication, leadership, organization, and prioritization skills are essential. Fluent professional English is desired.

Work Environment

The mission is part of an international ERP transformation program based on Microsoft Dynamics 365, with significant challenges in regional coordination, deployment quality, and securing production releases. The consultant will work closely with the central program teams, regional managers, business teams, key users, IT teams, and integrators. The environment involves managing multiple test campaigns, coordinating numerous stakeholders, and adhering to quality requirements defined at the program level.

The consultant will operate in a structured context, requiring strong autonomy, a cross-functional view of ERP processes, and the ability to manage qualification activities up to production release decisions. The location, start date, and duration of the mission are yet to be specified.
