Are you a Class 2D+ Registered Building Inspector looking for your next contract opportunity? We’re working with a Local Authority in the West Midlands that is looking to appoint an experienced Building Inspector to support its busy Building Control team on an initial 12-month contract.

• Manage a varied caseload of domestic building projects.
• Carry out site inspections, ensuring compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and current Building Regulations.
• Provide technical advice and guidance to applicants, contractors, developers, and members of the public.
• Maintain accurate inspection records while delivering a high standard of customer service.
• Class 2D+ Registration under the BSR
• Previous experience working within a Local Authority Building Control team.
• Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and associated legislation.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
• £60-65 per hour (Outside IR35).
• Initial 12-month contract with the potential for extension.
• Flexible hybrid working arrangements.
• The opportunity to work within a supportive Local Authority team on a varied workload.
