The role involves analyzing existing documentation and requirements, structuring them, and preparing prioritized epics into concrete requirements and stories for embedded systems, specifically Smart Meter Gateways.
Project overview
Review of existing documentation and requirements.
Analysis of currently available tickets and project documents.
Understanding of existing processes and structures.
Evaluation of existing artifacts.
Introduction of a traceable structure for changes and requirements.
Interviews with employees to identify pain points and bottlenecks.
Analysis of BSI documents, company documentation, and software documentation.
Break down prioritized epics into concrete requirements and stories.
Transfer functional use cases into actionable work packages.
Definition and assurance of Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.
Support developers in detailing requirements.

Requirements
+ Several years of project experience as a Requirement Engineer
+ Expertise in embedded systems - Smart Meter Gateway
+ Expertise in security/encryption
+ Project experience with BSI specifications, standards, and guidelines, committees such as DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies)
+ Project experience in the energy industry - specifically Smart Meter Gateway
