Project overview

We, emagine GmbH, are looking for experienced Requirements Engineers / Business Analysts for our Insurance Business Unit. You will take on the central role as an interface between business departments and IT, supporting the functional and technical development of existing and new processes with a special focus on digitalization, automation, and AI-based solutions.

The goal is the optimization and digitalization of operational processes to increase efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Must-Have Requirements

• Recording, analysis, and documentation of functional requirements from business areas
• Translation of business requirements into actionable IT and digitalization concepts
• Management and moderation of workshops with stakeholders from business, operations, and IT
• Creation of business requirements, user stories, functional concepts, and process documentation
• Analysis and optimization of existing business processes
• Support in the introduction of innovative technologies and AI solutions
• Accompanying implementation projects from requirements gathering to go-live
• Coordination with internal and external development teams
• Conducting reviews, acceptances, and quality assurance measures
• Identification of application possibilities for Artificial Intelligence in the assistance and claims environment
• Definition of functional requirements for AI-supported processes
• Introduction and optimization of AI functionalities for efficiency improvement
• Analysis and digitalization of existing invoice processing procedures
• Definition of checking rules and workflows
• Automated plausibility and rule checks
• Identification of suitable cases for automated processing
• Development of end-to-end processes without manual intervention
• Optimization of process quality and reduction of manual processing efforts
• Optimization of claims and service processes
• Support in the digitalization of assistance services
• Improvement of customer and partner communication along the customer journey
• Several years of professional experience as a Requirements Engineer or Business Analyst
• Demonstrable project experience in the insurance sector
• Experience in collaborating with business departments and IT organizations
• Very good knowledge of Requirements Engineering and Process Management
• Experience in creating functional concepts, user stories, and process models
• Very good communication and moderation skills
• German C1 level
