Rollout Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone information and inventory calls with sales agencies
• Inquire, check, and record which hardware, software, notebooks, network infrastructure, landline telephony are in use, to what extent, and for how many agency employees, etc.
• Inform agency employees about what to expect during the rollout and what support each individual in the agencies can provide
• Inquire who the main contact person for technical matters is in the agencies, etc.
• Schedule appointments for technicians, field service, etc.
• Be available for agency inquiries
• Documentation and quality assurance of requirements

• Training as an IT system merchant, IT specialist for system integration, telecommunications technician, or comparable practical experience
• Experience from comparable projects within large client environments
• Expertise in the area of hardware and software rollouts
• Good knowledge in the area of Windows 10 notebooks, routers, switches, DSL modems, and MS Teams telephony

Our client is one of Germany's TOP primary insurance companies, serving approximately 5 million customers, with over 3 billion euros in premium income and nearly 20 billion euros in managed capital. As a Rollout Engineer, you will support the successful rollout of Windows 10 notebooks, routers, switches, DSL modems, and MS Teams telephony to 2,500 locations for our client's sales force within an existing core team. You will gather technical details by phone regarding the agencies, advise them, and serve as a competent point of contact.
