The consultancy works heavily with mid-market customers, so the successful candidate must be able to adapt their delivery style accordingly.

These customers often require more direct guidance, simpler governance and closer engagement than large enterprise organisations. The Project Manager must therefore be pragmatic, commercially aware and comfortable translating complex SAP and architecture decisions into clear business implications.

This role would suit someone who combines strong SAP solution understanding with hands-on project management capability and can confidently operate between the customer, Solution Architecture and delivery teams.

• Lead SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud projects through the full delivery lifecycle.
• Own integrated plans, RAID, dependencies, budgets, milestones and project governance.
• Manage delivery across functional, technical, data, integration and business workstreams.
• Work closely with Solution Architects and functional leads to understand the impact of design decisions.
• Identify dependencies between configuration, integrations, data migration, testing and cutover.
• Challenge architecture or delivery decisions where they introduce unnecessary risk, complexity or cost.
• Manage Fit-to-Standard activities and ensure decisions remain aligned to the Public Cloud delivery model.
• Lead customer meetings, Steering Committees and project communications.
• Manage offshore and distributed delivery teams.
• Drive issue resolution, recovery planning and escalation where projects begin to slip.
• Maintain strong customer relationships while challenging stakeholders where necessary.
• Proven delivery experience as an SAP Project Manager.
• At least one genuine SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud/Public Edition implementation.
• Strong understanding of SAP Activate and Fit-to-Standard.
• Good knowledge of the broader Public Cloud architecture, including:
• Clean Core
• Integrations
• Extensions
• Data migration
• Testing and cutover dependencies
• Cloud ALM/delivery governance
• Previous SAP functional consulting or solution architecture experience is highly desirable.
• Strong customer-facing stakeholder management.
• Experience working with offshore or distributed SAP delivery teams.
• Comfortable operating in a hands-on role rather than purely at PMO or programme governance level.

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Project Manager to support a growing SAP consultancy delivering transformation programmes for mid-market customers.

This is a hands-on delivery role requiring someone with genuine S/4HANA Public Cloud/Public Edition experience and a strong understanding of the wider solution landscape.

Ideal Background:

The strongest fit will be someone who has developed through the SAP delivery lifecycle, ideally progressing from:

SAP Functional Consultant → Solution Architect/Solution Lead → Project Manager

This background is important because the Project Manager will need to understand more than plans, governance and reporting.

They must be able to understand the solution architecture picture, challenge design decisions where required, and recognise how technical and functional choices impact scope, cost, dependencies and delivery timelines.
