Safety Engineer Automotive

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Safety Engineer Automotive for the development of future-oriented vehicle technologies. In this role, you will actively participate in the creation of technical safety concepts for control units and vehicle systems – with a focus on electromobility and autonomous driving.

Your tasks include assessing required safety measures according to ASIL standards and process support according to ISO 26262. You will develop solutions for securing various signal paths, participate in defining tests and creating safety plans, and create and maintain specifications in DOORS. Furthermore, you will ensure compliance with Safety Goals in close coordination with Safety Management.

For this position, you should have a completed degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field. You have sound knowledge and practical experience in safety development with ISO 26262 and ASIL assessments. Experience in hardware and software development in the automotive environment is required.

Your personal strengths are characterized by analytical skills, independent working style, and strong communication skills. Fluent English skills and German skills at C1 level are necessary.
