Functional Safety Expert – ADAS

Responsibilities

• Support in the development of infotainment systems regarding all aspects of functional safety according to ISO26262 Parts 4, 5, 6
• Completion of administrative tasks such as safety plan and safety case
• You will be responsible for the development of safety concepts, the creation of evidence of effectiveness, and coordination with project stakeholders.
• Organization and execution of hazard and risk analyses
• - For SW: Analysis of freedom from interference, data flow analysis, analysis of dependent or common cause failures, analysis of failure effects
• For HW: PMHF, FIT, SPFM, LFM
• Derivation and specification of functional and technical safety requirements
• Execution of safety analyses (FTA, FMEA, FMEDA) ADAS systems including subsystems and components Consulting on functional and technical safety concepts
• Consulting on functional and technical safety concepts in various technical areas
• Support of the complete product development cycle and close cooperation with system and domain development teams in mechanical components, EE systems (HW&SW)
• Testing and product validation regarding functional safety

• Successfully completed university or master's degree in electronics, mechatronics, energy technology, computer science, or a comparable field of study
• > 5 years of practical experience with functional safety according to ISO26262 for complex mechatronic products (HW&SW&Mech.), ideally in the automotive sector for infotainment or ADAS systems
• Very good knowledge of product development in the automotive sector with EE systems
• Very good knowledge of development processes according to Automotive SPICE
• Structured and analytical way of working
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken
