SAP ABAP Developer Maintenance

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer (m/f/d) for the further development and maintenance of SAP systems in the area of maintenance. The position is designed to be predominantly remote (90%) with occasional on-site appointments.

Your tasks include the analysis of functional and technical requirements in the SAP environment, particularly in the PS and SD modules. You will develop and enhance SAP applications using ABAP and ABAP OO, analyze existing custom developments, and derive technical solution approaches. A focus is placed on the further development of maintenance processes, especially in the area of equipment management as well as notification, task, and service processes. You will perform error analyses, fix bugs, create technical documentation, and conduct unit and integration tests.

We expect at least 5 years of professional experience in SAP development with ABAP/ABAP OO, as well as extensive practical knowledge in the analysis and maintenance of existing SAP systems. Profound knowledge in the SAP PS/SD environment and in technical maintenance processes is required. Project experience in the development of billing processes and experience with integrated SAP system landscapes (CS, MM, WM, PS, SD) are necessary.

Experience with modern SAP technologies such as SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, CDS Views, and OData Services, knowledge of agile methods (SAFe, Scrum), and experience with development tools such as Jira, Confluence, and SAP Business Application Studio are advantageous.

The project runs until June 2027 in full-time employment. German is required.
