SAP Developer Maintenance

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Developer in the area of Maintenance for a project starting in November 2026. The position is advertised as a full-time, fixed-term role until June 2027 with the option for extension and offers flexible working arrangements with remote possibilities from Germany as well as regular on-site days.

In this role, you will analyze functional and technical requirements in the SAP environment and develop solutions using ABAP and ABAP Object-Oriented Programming. You will work on the further development of existing SAP custom developments and implement new functionalities in the context of Maintenance. Your tasks include implementing requirements in the areas of Equipment Management, Notification and Task processes, and Service processes. Furthermore, you will perform error analysis, create technical documentation, and conduct unit and integration tests.

We expect at least five years of practical experience in SAP development with ABAP/ABAP OO, as well as in-depth knowledge of the SAP CS environment and technical maintenance processes. Project experience in the development of maintenance objects and processes is required. You should have experience with integrated SAP system landscapes (CS, MM, WM, PS, SD) and ideally be familiar with modern SAP technologies such as Fiori, SAPUI5, or CDS Views.

Methodological competencies in SAFe and Scrum, as well as proficiency in using development tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Eclipse/ADT, are advantageous. Good presentation skills for conveying complex issues complete the profile.
