SAP ABAP ECP Developer

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP ECP Developer for a large transformation project migrating from ECC to S/4 HANA. This full-time position is remote and offers a project duration of four months with possible extension.

Responsibilities

You will contribute to the development and optimization of SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) solutions. Your expertise is required in at least one of the following areas: Paid Time Off (PTO) with accrual and entitlement calculations, US payroll with tax configuration and compliance reporting, system integration between HR and payroll systems, or custom reporting and payroll analytics.

Requirements

You have proven practical experience with SAP ECP, including configuration, support, and troubleshooting. In-depth knowledge of ABAP is required – especially in reading, debugging, and modifying payroll integrations and reports. You understand SAP ECP architecture, data models, and wage types. Additionally, you should have experience with SCA/DBA compliance, Prevailing Wage Calculations, and Audit Reporting. A strong understanding of US payroll and regulatory requirements (FLSA, IRS guidelines) is necessary. Experience in defect management, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting completes your profile.
