SAP Basis / Solution Architect – S/4HANA Migration

Project overview

For our client, we are looking for an experienced SAP Basis/Architecture specialist for a comprehensive S/4HANA transformation project in a hospital environment. The focus is on the overall technical architecture, the integration of existing SAP systems, and the preparation and support of the migration to SAP S/4HANA.

Responsibilities

Conception and evaluation of the technical SAP target architecture

Planning and support of the S/4HANA migration

Technical integration of existing SAP and peripheral systems

Evaluation of interfaces, dependencies, and technical migration risks

Support with system and migration designs as well as cutover planning

Coordination with business departments, development, SAP Basis, and other project streams

Technical support for tests, migration, and go-live

Documentation of architecture decisions and technical concepts

Must-haves

Several years of experience in SAP Basis or SAP Architecture environment

Demonstrable experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations or transformations

Very good understanding of SAP system landscapes and integration architectures

Experience with technical migration, upgrade, or conversion projects

Experience in complex SAP project landscapes

Very good German language skills

Advantageous

Experience in the healthcare/hospital environment

Knowledge of SAP IS-H

Experience with sidecar, transition, or hybrid architectures

Experience with SAP BTP and modern SAP integration approaches
