For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced SAP BTP / CAP Developer (m/f/d) to support the maintenance, further development, and operation of an existing SAP BTP application.

The focus is on a comprehensive application based on SAP CAP and Node.js with SAP HANA database connectivity, CDS services, and SAPUI5 interfaces. The application is connected to various third-party systems via the SAP Integration Suite.

We are looking for a technically proficient developer who can understand existing applications and services, analyze errors, and resolve them independently if necessary.

• Start: Short notice, ideally October/November 2026
• Duration: Initially 3 months with a long-term extension option (deployment planned for 2027)
• Workload: Approx. 1–2 days per week, potentially higher initially
• Location: 100% Remote
• Project Language: German and English
• Interviews: Friday, October 16, 2026, between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM

Responsibilities

Requirements – Must-have

• Maintenance and technical further development of an existing SAP BTP application
• Analysis and error correction in CAP/Node.js applications and CDS services
• Monitoring and troubleshooting of applications, services, and interfaces
• Analysis of errors in the interaction between SAP HANA, CAP services, and SAP Integration Suite
• Support in stabilizing and optimizing existing applications
• Close collaboration with internal Application Management
• Sound experience with SAP BTP and Cloud Foundry
• Very good knowledge of SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) with Node.js
• Experience with CDS (Core Data Services) and CDS services
• Good knowledge of SAP HANA DB and HDI containers
• Experience with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS)
• Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration, especially monitoring and error analysis
• Experience in analyzing and correcting errors in productive applications

Nice to have

Framework Conditions

The collaboration is designed for the long term. After an intensive onboarding phase, regular support of an average of approx. 1–2 days per week is aimed for. The assignment is initially on a quarterly basis with an extension option.

The activity can be performed entirely remotely.
