Project overview

Dear Sir or Madam,

For a long-term project, we are looking for a Senior SAP Architect – SAP S/4HANA / SAP BTP / Integration Suite / Clean Core.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a structured analysis of the existing IT and SAP system landscape
• Develop and document technical target architectures, solution designs, and implementation concepts
• Analyze functional and technical requirements and develop suitable courses of action
• Design and evaluate technical SAP architectures, considering existing systems, interfaces, and platforms
• Advise on technology and platform decisions in the SAP environment
• Evaluate and design architectures based on SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP
• Advise on on-stack and side-by-side extensions, considering Clean Core principles
• Design and further develop technical integration architectures with SAP Integration Suite and APIs
• Develop and document technical architecture specifications and architecture patterns
• Conduct architecture reviews to ensure compliance with technical standards and strategic guidelines
• Document architecture deviations and derive concrete recommendations for action
• Advise on updating technical architecture principles within the Maintain4Infrastructure Value Team
• Evaluate new architecture patterns and their potential applications within the SAP system landscape
• Advise on the strategic further development of the SAP system landscape from a technical architecture perspective
• Develop and document technical architecture decisions as a basis for a sustainable and standardized SAP system landscape

• More than 5 years of practical experience in technical SAP architectures, especially with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, as well as integration, extension, and application architectures in complex system landscapes
• More than 5 years of in-depth practical experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and SAP Integration Suite, as well as modern SAP extension and integration concepts
• More than 5 years of practical experience in designing and evaluating technical SAP architectures, as well as deriving technical architecture specifications for complex SAP system landscapes
• More than 3 years of practical experience with SAP BTP, as well as designing and evaluating on-stack and side-by-side extension architectures, considering Clean Core principles
• More than 5 years of practical experience in evaluating SAP technologies, platforms, and solution alternatives, as well as deriving well-founded technical architecture recommendations
• Practical experience in designing SAP integration architectures, especially with SAP Integration Suite, APIs, and synchronous and asynchronous integration scenarios, proven by at least 3 project references
• Practical experience in developing and applying technical architecture principles, architecture patterns, and architecture specifications, as well as in conducting architecture reviews, proven by at least 3 project references
