SAP CO (Controlling) Functional Consultant - Reporting & Costing

Project overview

Contract role in India for a 5–10 years SAP CO functional consultant to configure and support core CO processes (CCA, product costing, CO-PA/margin analysis, actual costing and Material Ledger). The consultant will gather reporting and MIS requirements, produce functional documentation (FS/BRD/BDD) and test scenarios, and collaborate with ABAP/CDS/Fiori/SAC teams to deliver reporting solutions, leveraging strong knowledge of SAP tables and reporting structures.

Responsibilities

• Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
• Product Cost Planning (PCP)
• Product Cost by Order
• Profitability Analysis (CO-PA / Margin Analysis)
• Actual Costing and Material Ledger (ML)
• Gather business requirements for management reporting, MIS, costing, profitability, and operational reports.
• Prepare Functional Specifications (FS), BRDs, BDDs, and test scenarios for custom developments.
• Work with ABAP, CDS View, Fiori and SAC teams to develop reporting solutions.
• Strong understanding of SAP tables and reporting structures
