Project overview

As part of the strategic further development of the SAP system landscape, opportunities for the use of AI are to be analyzed and evaluated. The goal is to identify relevant business cases and develop a future-oriented AI roadmap, taking into account current and future SAP AI technologies. The roadmap should show concrete recommendations for action and prioritized use cases and serve as a basis for possible later implementations.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of the existing SAP system landscape regarding possible AI use cases
• Identification and evaluation of relevant business cases for the use of AI in the SAP environment
• Consulting on current AI technologies, SAP Business AI, and future technological developments
• Evaluation of automation and optimization potentials within existing business processes
• Development of a structured AI roadmap with prioritized use cases and concrete recommendations for action
• Evaluation of the technical feasibility and economic benefit of possible AI solutions
• Identification of future trends and innovation opportunities in the SAP environment
• Presentation of results and derivation of possible next steps as a basis for later implementation

Requirements

• Several years of experience in SAP consulting with a focus on AI and digital transformation
• Profound knowledge of current AI technologies and their application possibilities in the SAP environment
• Knowledge of SAP Business AI, SAP Joule, and relevant SAP innovations
• Experience in identifying and evaluating AI business cases
• Demonstrable reference projects in the development of AI strategies and roadmaps, ideally in the SAP environment
• Good understanding of business processes and their optimization potentials through AI
• Ability to evaluate technological trends and derive practice-oriented recommendations for action
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as an independent way of working
• Very good English skills, spoken and written
• German language skills are an advantage
