• Operational support for financial accounting during the transition to S/4HANA
• Recording current processes with employees, identifying media breaks and manual steps
• Developing target processes based on the S/4HANA standard and bringing the team along
• Chart of accounts and mapping topics, annual financial statements, integration of Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA) from IS-U
• Technical sparring partner for the template provider
• Several years of SAP FI experience with German energy providers or municipal utilities
• Knowledge of energy industry requirements for accounting, e.g., activity-based costing and unbundling
• S/4HANA project experience, ideally cloud or template-based
• Hands-on mentality and the ability to coach a business department through change
• Fluent German
• Interface knowledge FI-CA / IS-U
• Experience with municipal structures or data centers
• Group financial statements with multiple companies

Assignment: predominantly remote, on-site appointments at the client's location in Southern Germany

Project

Our client is migrating from SAP ECC (R/3) to S/4HANA Cloud. The basis is the standard template of an IT service provider; the template does not cover individual accounting requirements. An experienced FI consultant is sought to support financial accounting in daily operations and, together with the team, to set up processes for the new world instead of replicating the old one one-to-one.
