Project overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP German Payroll Specialist to support an SAP Payroll implementation project. The focus is on the configuration of payroll schemas and compliance with German payroll laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and configuration of SAP German Payroll (PY-DE)
- Configuration and management of payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types, and payroll rules
- Ensure compliance with German payroll legislation, taxation, and social security regulations
- Support payroll testing, troubleshooting, integration, and go-live activities
- Close collaboration with HR, payroll, and technical teams
- Functional support during implementation and hypercare phases
Requirements
Contract: 6 months | Location: Fully remote with occasional travel | Start: As soon as possible
- Extensive hands-on experience with SAP HCM German Payroll (PY-DE)
- Proven experience in SAP payroll implementation and configuration
- In-depth knowledge of German payroll schemas, PCRs, and wage types
- Solid understanding of German payroll legislation and statutory requirements
- Experience with SAP payroll testing and troubleshooting
- Fluent German and English (required)
- Willingness to travel to Germany during critical project phases
