SAP P2P Functional Process Consultant – Accounts Payable & E-Invoicing

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP P2P Functional Process Consultant to support the functional design and implementation of Accounts Payable and payment processes. The position is limited to 12 months with potential for extension and is primarily performed remotely.

Your tasks include supporting the functional design for SAP FI and MM, conceptualizing and implementing invoice management processes, and implementing E-Invoicing solutions. You will analyze and optimize existing Purchase-to-Pay processes, utilizing SAP standard functionality and defining functional requirements for interfaces to upstream systems. Furthermore, you will conduct functional tests, identify and resolve functional issues, and coordinate with business stakeholders and IT teams.

We expect extensive functional expertise in SAP FI with a focus on Accounts Payable, PO-based invoices, and FI invoice management. Good knowledge of SAP MM and its integration with payment-related processes is required. You should have a deep understanding of end-to-end P2P processes and practical experience in functional process design, blueprint implementation, and optimization of invoice and payment management processes. Practical experience with E-Invoicing implementations and an understanding of SAP interfaces and system integration are necessary.

You should be able to independently translate business requirements into functional solutions, identify process gaps, and support functional implementation, testing, and validation. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, as well as the ability to work across business and IT teams, are essential. Fluent English language skills are required; German language skills are an advantage.
