Job description
We are looking for an experienced SAP PP/DS consultant for S/4HANA to stabilize daily production planning, configure and maintain the PPDS optimizer, and resolve planning deviations. The role involves close collaboration with the production department and the SAP team.

Project Background
SAP S/4HANA is in productive operation. The PPDS module is active but not currently fully utilized. The PPDS optimizer is running in parallel, but without deep internal know-how. Unexplained planning shifts occur regularly, requiring quick reactions. We are looking for an expert who knows the system, proactively stabilizes it, and supports the internal team.
- Conduct and stabilize daily production planning together with the specialist department
- Analyze, configure, and continuously maintain the PPDS optimizer
- Trace and resolve unexplained shifts in the planning system
- Lead regular coordination meetings with production and the SAP team
- Provide short-term consulting support during critical planning disruptions
- Continuous knowledge transfer to the specialist department
- Sound expert knowledge in SAP PP/DS (S/4HANA)
- Proven experience with the PPDS optimizer
- Ability for independent analysis and resolution of planning deviations
- Experience in collaborating with production specialist departments (production, planning)
- Strong communication skills, solution-oriented
- Fluent German
