SAP PP-PI Consultant (m/f/d) – S/4HANA Brownfield / Chemicals & Pharma

Project overview

For a long-standing client in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, an experienced SAP PP-PI Consultant is sought.

As part of an SAP S/4HANA On-Premise transformation, the existing SAP landscape is to be migrated and integrated using the Brownfield approach.

The focus is on process consulting and SAP PP-PI customizing. An experienced consultant is sought who understands the production processes of the process industry and can provide technical support for the transformation. Development activities are not part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Consulting and support in the area of SAP PP-PI
• Analysis and optimization of existing production and planning processes
• Support of the S/4HANA Brownfield transformation
• Conception and implementation of process adjustments in SAP PP-PI
• Execution of the required SAP PP-PI customizing
• Support of process orders, recipes, resources, and production versions
• Ensuring integration with adjacent SAP modules, especially MM, QM, and CO
• Gathering business requirements and conducting workshops
• Performing fit-gap analyses and evaluating necessary adjustments
• Support with integration tests, go-live, and hypercare

Framework Conditions

An experienced SAP PP-PI process consultant with strong customizing know-how is sought to provide technical and process support for the S/4HANA transformation. Not a developer role.

• Several years of experience as an SAP PP-PI consultant
• Profound knowledge of SAP PP-PI customizing
• Very good understanding of production processes in the chemical and/or pharmaceutical industry
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA On-Premise
• Experience in Brownfield transformations or S/4HANA integration projects
• Knowledge of process manufacturing, especially process orders, recipes, and resources
• Experience in integrating PP-PI with adjacent SAP modules
• Strong process understanding and independent working style
• Good German language skills
