Overall Project Management

The client plans to introduce SAP RAR. The project aims to replace the existing MEA systems (Fair Value Hardware Engine, METIS, BilEngine, KGKEngine) with SAP RAR to automate revenue recognition according to IFRS 15.

SAP RAR is designed as an integral part of S/4HANA and is intended to switch revenue accounting from a portfolio approach to an individual contract approach. The scope includes the mobile service provider business of freenet DLS GmbH and klarmobil GmbH.

This project mandate involves the management of technical implementation, SAP customizing, and system integration. The key objective of this service is the successful completion of the SAP RAR introduction project.

The core focus is the coordination of project participants and, in particular, the implementation partner. The focus here is on the functional clarification of requirements and subsequent technical implementation in the involved IT systems.

• Overall responsibility for IT sub-projects across all phases (initiation, planning, implementation, closure) and other sub-projects in accounting / controlling.
• Ensuring Time, Quality & Budget.
• Management of internal and external project participants.
• Planning, monitoring, and reporting of project progress, milestones, and dependencies.
• Stakeholder management, including coordination with business departments and management.
• Risk management: Identification, assessment, and management of project risks.
• Ensuring compliance with agreed project management standards and methods.
• Several years of professional experience in IT project management.
• Demonstrable project management references of comparable size and complexity.
• Sound knowledge of common project management methodologies.
• Experience in collaborating with external service providers and interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and management skills.
• Knowledge in the telecommunications industry is desirable, but not mandatory.
• Advantageous: 1. Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, Scrum).
• Experience in the SAP environment.
• Experience in the SAP environment, preferably SAP RAR.
• Knowledge of the IFRS 15 accounting standard.

fulltime, of which 60% on-site near Kiel (planned, possibly negotiable).

Fee:

max. € 120.00 / hour - blended rate.
