SAP S/4HANA Data Migration Lead – FI

We are looking for an external, freelance SAP S/4HANA Data Migration Lead with a focus on FI for a client. As part of an ongoing S/4HANA transformation, the focus is on managing and technically supporting the financial data migration, including quality assurance, migration tests, and cutover.

Responsibilities

• Extensive experience in SAP data migration and demonstrable responsibility as a Migration Lead or sub-project manager in SAP S/4HANA projects
• Sound knowledge of SAP FI, especially General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Asset Accounting
• Planning, conception, and management of the transfer of financial, asset, master, and transactional data to SAP S/4HANA
• Practical experience in data extraction, cleansing, mapping, and loading, as well as with suitable SAP migration tools, such as the SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit
• Coordination of migration-related activities and dependencies between Accounting, other business units, IT, development, and external project partners
• Planning and support of migration tests, functional coordination and validation of migrated data, as well as management of error clarification and resolution
• Experience in planning and supporting cutover activities, as well as technical understanding of interfaces and ABAP-based migration solutions
