Responsibilities

• Technical Consultant in the role of Configuration Manager
• As the primary point of contact for configurations, you will coordinate, among other things, the execution of customer release cutovers until go-live
• High degree of coordination and communication, e.g., discussions with development departments to clarify operational aspects of new developments
• Documentation creation, maintenance, and adaptation
• Onsite 4-5 days / week Munich, remote possible on a weekly alternating basis
• Willingness for security screening (corresponding to Ü1)

• University degree or comparable knowledge from professional practice
• Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Basis and Configuration Management
• Experience as a Technical Consultant in the role of Configuration Manager
• Good coordination skills with the creation of process documentation for customer releases
• (Cutover, operational manuals, system documentation)
• Experience in coordinating customer release cutovers until go-live
• Good basic background knowledge, e.g., CRM with SLT + HANA, NWDI, SLD, BO, NW Java systems, and Solution Manager
• Good knowledge of configuring ABAP systems and interface technologies (WebServices, bgRFC, RFC)
• Good knowledge in the administration and configuration of PO
• Good knowledge in NW Java Administration (deployment and monitoring of customer-specific Java programs)
• Good knowledge in transport management
• Self-motivated team player
• Very good German language skills, spoken and written

We support SAP Germany in various projects. Currently, the S4 Basis department requires support from a Technical Consultant as a Configuration Manager. A significant part of your activity as a Configuration Manager involves a high degree of coordination and communication, e.g., discussions with development departments to clarify operational aspects of new developments, followed by documentation creation/maintenance and adaptation.
