Project overview

Project

For a major transmission system operator, we are looking for an experienced scheduler (m/f/d). You will be involved in several AC projects, specifically in projects for the construction of substations and power lines for grid expansion. You will be responsible for scheduling and support project management in achieving project goals.

Responsibilities

Create new schedules according to the client's specifications or support the setup of the schedule

Continue and continuously update existing schedules

Special focus on interface deadlines within the project and with adjacent projects

Responsibility for the master schedule (maintenance and further development) and its interfaces to the detailed schedules

Participation in reporting on scheduling

Support of risk management in schedule assessment

Proactively keep an eye on important project deadlines and communicate them to the project

Goals

The schedule reflects the project and is always up-to-date

The requirements from reporting are met

There is an overview of upcoming milestones that is communicated proactively

Results and Scope of Work

Regular status report (monthly, possibly as needed)

Regular filing of the updated project schedule

Documents to be handed over: Minutes, schedules, phase plans

Requirements

Must:

Expert-level experience in scheduling and MS Project

Experience in infrastructure / electrical engineering (mandatory)

Project experience and knowledge of common project management methods

You can manage schedules in multiple projects simultaneously and recognize and consider dependencies

At least 3 years of professional experience

Desirable:

IPMA certification

Experience with substation or power line construction projects in grid expansion

Experience with the PowerPoint add-in think-cell

Interfaces

Manager Project Office (TMPO), project managers, project staff, service providers, and subcontractors. You will independently obtain project information and schedules from service providers.
