Develop and review safety concepts for ships, focusing on escape and evacuation routes, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Project overview
+ Development and review of naval safety concepts within the scope of the basic design.
+ Planning and evaluation of escape and evacuation routes on board.
+ Consideration of safety-relevant requirements during general design development.
+ Verification of compliance with the customer's applicable classification and construction regulations.
+ Coordination with specialist departments for the integration of safety-relevant components and requirements.
+ Support with technical documentation and proof of compliance.
Requirements
+ Completed degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a comparable field.
+ Experience in safety planning and general design development of ships.
+ Knowledge of escape and evacuation route concepts on ships.
+ Sound knowledge of classification rules and customer-specific construction regulations.
