Scrum Master / Delivery Lead (m/f/d)

About the Role:

For a major financial services organization undergoing a strategic data and distribution transformation, we are seeking an experienced Scrum Master / Delivery Lead who combines Agile leadership with strong project management and technical delivery expertise.

This role goes beyond traditional Scrum facilitation. The successful candidate will drive complex transformation initiatives across business, architecture, data, infrastructure, and engineering teams while ensuring successful delivery of strategic modernization programs.

Responsibilities

Required Experience:

• Lead Agile delivery across multiple cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Drive planning, execution, dependency management, risk management, and release coordination.
• Act as the primary interface between Business, Architecture, Data, Infrastructure, and Development teams.
• Ensure alignment between roadmap commitments, delivery objectives, and strategic transformation initiatives.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication, governance forums, and management reporting.
• Support technical transformation and platform modernization initiatives.
• Identify delivery risks proactively and implement mitigation measures.
• Drive initiatives from planning through successful production deployment.
• Several years of experience as a Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong background in project and delivery management, ideally within banking, insurance, or other regulated industries.
• Proven track record in large-scale transformation and modernization programs.
• Experience managing cross-team dependencies and end-to-end delivery processes.
• Strong technical understanding of Azure, Azure DevOps, Databricks, SQL, cloud architectures, APIs, DevOps, and CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with data migration, legacy-to-cloud transformations, data integration, and platform modernization initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in complex, fast-paced environments with a strong delivery focus.
